Katadata Investor Confidence Index (KICI) highlights the institutional investors’ confidence, risk appetite, risk tolerance, and risk attitudes. It quantifies the investor sentiment, behavior, and critical trends underlying in Indonesia investment market every quarter. Particularly in current market condition, domestic and global economic – as well as investment outlook, and capital appreciation.

Investor Confidence Index Government, IKIP increased by 7,6 points compared to Q3 2019

Investor Confidence Index Government, IKIP is part of KICI which specifically measure investor's attitude toward Indonesia government especially in terms of national politics, national security, infrastructure availability.

Our respondents are more than 280 investment managers in investment management, pension fund companies, and insurance companies in Indonesia.

Methodology

A quantitative research through telephone survey, questions were asked from a structured questionnaire, as designed by our team.

KICI value is assigned from 0 to 200. Should all respondent’s answer be positive, the diffusion index shall define 200. Conversely, negative answers shall define 0.

Where:
a) KICI value > 100: shall define optimism of respondents’ answer.
b) KICI value < 100: shall define pessimism of respondents’ answer.
c) KICI value = 100: shall define neutral.
